Seeking an appointment of full time Coptic Orthodox Priest.

The selected priest would have been ordained in accordance with the Coptic Orthodox Dogma, by a Coptic Orthodox Bishop and have a minimum of 2 years’ service as a Priest at a Coptic Orthodox Church.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate leadership, have excellent communication skills and are fully compliant with the Coptic Orthodox teaching and rituals.

Duties:
Prepare messages and lessons by studying church teachings and pronouncements; writing sermons.

Educates members and converts by presenting and explaining the Coptic faith.

Counseling clients by identifying concerns, identifying and evaluating moral and ethical options, explaining writings, guiding clients’ decisions making and recommending a course of action.

Comforts clients by offering condolences and support.

Maintaining knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading the writings of Church Leaders,

Establishing community network, exploring the beliefs of others.

Salary
£ 14,000 – £ 16,000 per year

Education level:
University degree

Knowledge of Arabic and Coptic languages are desirable.
